What's the story?
My name is Nicole and I created Magic Mats at the yoga studio my husband and I own in Fort Collins, Colorado-- Foss Yoga.
I saw SO many students coming into class with PLASTIC and FOAM mats that made their practice a slippery mess and created wrist and shoulder issues. Students were FRUSTRATED slipping in down dog-- and sometimes they quit their membership to give their wrists a break, even when yoga was the only thing holding their mental wellbeing together.
After buying one of EVERY mat on the market to sell at Foss Yoga and solve this problem for students, I wasn't happy. These mats weren't grippy, supportive, gorgeous, or durable enough to sell to my students, my friends and family!
When you can't find it, you make it.
We created dozens of alignment designs and found what worked best for students. Then we went out and found a manufacturer who is an absolute magician with rubber, and voila!
